How Outlook organizes and stores data for your emails

Unlike most file storage applications Microsoft Outlook does not archive data in separate message files. Messages, customizations, and other options are grouped together in a special database type file known as a PST. The PST file for Microsoft Outlook which has a 2 GB inbox folder size limitation stores message data in the form of text and shared universal settings. What this means is that if all of the type in your incoming message box uses 12 point Arial there is no need for every message to be written in HTML stating this. Much in the way a cascading style sheet works one set of instructions applies to all the messages.

Unfortunately this also means that should be file creation table for the font become damaged or corrupted the message itself may not be able to display. A small amount of corruption on the Microsoft Outlook PST file results in a greater amount of damage to messages. Remo Software’s program for Outlook recovery takes all of this into account and is designed to quickly repair Microsoft inbox problems. Remo Software also makes available a superior program for Microsoft Outlook Express recovery. This program was designed with the ability to undelete Outlook Express inbox folders.
