Reclaiming Mac trash and Windows recycle bin deleted files

Certainly Mac computers and Windows PCs are very different. Their operating systems use completely different languages. Mac OS X is based on the Unix language while Windows traces its language roots to DOS. One aspect that both of these operating systems share is the ability to be affected by human error. It is amazing how easy it is to drag and drop the file onto the Windows recycle bin or Mac trash can icon and forget we have placed that file into this special folder. We then go on to other projects and at some point empty the trash or recycle bin. Should we discover that the file we deleted was still needed we will need to use a tool for recycle bin recovery in the case of Windows or to undelete Mac trash files.

When we attempt to undelete trash Mac users must make certain the data recovery program they purchase supports the Mac OS X operating system. Almost any Windows data recovery tool will support recycle bin recovery. A reminder though, unless the data recovery tool you choose specifically states that it supports recycle bin recovery or the ability to undelete Mac trash you may have quite a difficult time in finding those lost files.
